Coating Operators

, will be responsible for the internal coating of used tubulars and related goods. Work is physical in nature and includes tasks such as: cleaning, blasting, and coating pipe, operating an overhead crane and related equipment.

Pipe handlingThread spray applicationMixing/adding coating to systemOverhead crane operationEquipment operation/set-up/adjustmentFollow basic safety rulesReport any accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards in the workplaceHousekeepingAccountable to immediate supervisor to complete assigned job tasks in a safe mannerAccountable for the safety of themselves and fellow co-workersAccountable for ensuring trainees are complying with Safe Work requirementsAuthority to correct improper work habits of traineesAuthority to stop assigned work activities if unsafe conditions existQualification Requirements
High school education with the ability to read, write and speak a minimum amount of English to perform job dutiesStrong communication skills and a commitment to customer serviceStandard First Aid and H2S Alive training preferredHSE Requirements:
Work is performed in a shop environment. Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes or gases and changes of temperature/humidity.Physical requirements:
