TMX Operator​/Heavy Equipment Operator - Bonnyville, AB

Savanna Well Servicing is looking to grow our business and we are currently hiring for the role of TMX Operator based out of Bonnyville, AB.

The primary purpose of this role is to effectively manage the daily operation of a TMX unit.

We may be willing to train the right candidate who has a Heavy Equipment Operator background.
Must have a valid Class 1 or 3 license to apply.

This fundamental role involves:

• Ensure that operations run smoothly, safely and efficiently

• Organize the set-up and shut down of the rig

• Ensure procedures and policies are posted and understood

• Prepare and submit required reports as well as other necessary paperwork

• Monitor the rig and maintain equipment at optimal productivity and profitability

• Work with oil company representative as necessary to maintain a level of excellence set forth by their company and Savanna, including input towards daily operations and procedures

• Adhere to environmental and safety legislation, policies, and recommended practices

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Mechanical aptitude

• Good working knowledge of relevant equipment and practices

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capability

• Strong safety values

• Ability to communicate, collaborate and keep others informed of key processes, policies, etc.

Qualified candidates require:

• 1 to 2 years experience as a TMX Operator or relevant industry experience (e.g. Heavy Equipment Operator)

• Valid H2S Alive certification and First Aid certification

• Class 1 or 3 driver’s license preferred

• Must live around Bonnyville or Lloydminster or surrounding areas

• We may be willing to train the right candidate with relevant experience
