We are looking for friendly and confident Security Professionals to work at various healthcare facilities in Wetaskiwin and surrounding areas, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. Our managers work with employees to find suitable positions and worksites that fit their lifestyles.

This position involves a 7 on, 7 off rotation, alternating between days and nights (1 week of days, 1 week off, then 1 week of nights, 1 week off).

On-call Security Guards are guaranteed a base rate during on-call hours. This rate increases to the site-specific rate when called out to shifts, which occurs nearly daily. Mileage is compensated for travel over 50 km one-way from the employee's base location.

Healthcare Security can be physically and emotionally demanding. Security Professionals provide support, empathy, customer service, and public safety to healthcare staff, visitors, clients, and patients. Our dynamic work environments can be both enjoyable and stressful. Our industry-leading Healthcare managers provide 24/7 support, focusing on risk minimization and incident response with real-time guidance.

A day in the life of a Healthcare Security Guard:

Your duties may vary by site but generally include:

• Providing access control within the facility and restricted areas.
• Monitoring and responding to incidents, including via cameras.
• Conducting patrols to identify risks like unlocked doors, blocked exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and security breaches.
• Responding to alarms and emergency calls.
• Investigating and reporting irregularities.
• Monitoring patient safety and reporting incidents as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
