In this role, you’ll be the first line of defense—monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling facilities, responding to incidents, enforcing site regulations, and maintaining the highest safety standards. You’ll also conduct routine inspections, prepare detailed reports, and help identify and address potential security risks.

We are currently looking for a Security Guard available for weekdays evening shifts (6pm to 12am), who can provide consistent coverage and maintain a safe environment during these key times. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy being proactive, solving problems on the spot, and working in dynamic settings.

What will you do:

Maintain facilities according to Edon standards and contract requirements

Identify, address, and report security concerns

Uphold order and enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises

Respond to incidents, generate incident reports, and investigate security-related concerns

Conduct routine building walk-throughs and generate detailed reports

Follow access control, patrol procedures, and fire safety protocols to maintain a secure environment

Work Monday to Friday 6pm-12am

What are we looking for?

Minimum of two years’ security experience

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Attention to detail and strong observation skills

Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations

Valid Alberta Security License is required

Standard First Aid and CPR with AED considered an asset

Completed Grade 12 Education

Excellent knowledge of security practices

Strong command of the English language (reading and writing)
