Overview
Fed Ex Canada is seeking motivated individuals to join as Package Handlers in Edmonton, AB. This is a seasonal warehouse role (12-week period), ideal for candidates who want hands-on logistics experience with a globally recognized company. With competitive pay and flexible shifts, this opportunity is suitable for part-time or supplementary income.
Responsibilities- Load and unload packages onto delivery vehicles, trailers, and conveyor systems.
- Sort packages by scanning, reading labels, and verifying information.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages continuously during shifts (3–5 hours).
- Operate basic warehouse tools and equipment safely (pallet jacks, scanners, rollers).
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Assist with palletizing, smalls handling, and non-conveyable package handling.
- Sunday: 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Monday to Thursday: 9:30 PM – 12:30 AM
- Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM (may start as early as 1 PM depending on volume)
- Saturday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- No prior experience required; warehouse or package handling experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift and carry 5–50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in hot/cold environments and loud noise conditions.
- Quebec
