JOB SUMMARY

Primary duties of this position are receiving, packaging and shipping material. Other daily duties required are unpacking, sorting, counting, picking and putting away material to and from their appropriate locations. The position requires high attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work well and coordinate tasks with other team members to meet the expectations of the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Receiving material by parcel and freight correctly and allocating to the correct location
• Completing stock pulls for customer orders
• Package products for shipment with high attention to detail
• Report any delivery or product issues to supervisor

• Stocking shelves and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Loading and unloading material using warehouse equipment as required
• Performing inventory cycle counts

• Accurately use company computer system, inventory scanners, courier processing software to process and ship orders, as well as communicate directly with couriers.
• Site maintenance, including removing snow and debris from the outside properly and general lawn maintenance.
• Any other duties as directed by supervisor or management.

May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.

• Strong organizational skills are required
• General knowledge of Windows based software (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Package Handling - Employee performance will be evaluated based on accuracy, packing to company standard and ability to adapt to changing demands.
• Material Handling – Employee performance evaluated based on ability to receive goods with fine attention to detail, report issues to the supervisor and put material away in a safe and efficient manner.
• Employee expected to work well in a team dynamic and to support the other warehouse tasks as required.

High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
• Frequent walking
• Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
• Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds
• Operation of warehouse equipment, including forklift, scissor lift and order picker (working at heights), pallet jack
