Swamper; Cold Storage

Staffmax is helping our client hire a Swamper to assist in their cold storage facility for a 3-month contract. This role involves manual material handling in a refrigerated environment. It’s ideal for individuals who are physically fit and comfortable working in cooler temperatures.

Contract Length: 3 Months

Location:

Edmonton, AB

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist drivers with loading/unloading goods in and out of cold storage

· Move boxes and containers using dollies or hand trucks

· Verify product counts and condition during transfers

· Work in refrigerated areas for extended periods (0 to 4°C)

· Keep aisles and loading areas clean and organized

· Report damaged or missing items to supervisors

· Adhere to all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

· Experience in warehouse or swamper roles preferred

· Comfortable working in cold environments

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions

· CSA-certified steel-toe boots and warm layers required

· Dependable and able to follow instructions
