CISO Secondment Services

Are you an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and want to make an impact with different customers? Are you energized by various cybersecurity issues that allow you to use your expertise to bring our clients to the desired level of security?

We are looking for a CISO. As a CISO within Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity you work in our secondment team. You will deploy your expertise on long-term projects at customers in different sectors.

In the role of CISO, our clients' problems can be diverse. You will advise on defining, maintaining and communicating cybersecurity vision, strategy, policies and procedures. You implement an organization's cybersecurity policies and ensure that information is shared appropriately. Strategy and policy are central to this process.

Some examples of possible assignments in the CISO role are:

• A government agency is looking for a CISO in the role of program manager. For this assignment, you will be responsible for shaping the process architecture, data architecture and application architecture. Ensuring the manageability, maintenance and quality of information provision, design of processes, applications, functions and data.
• For a logistics company, an assignment where you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing information security and privacy in a small and close-knit organization.
• For a hospital, there is an assignment where you are responsible and point of contact for information security within the organization. You are involved in translating the information security and privacy policy into concrete goals, responsibilities and evaluation moments. You also ensure awareness among colleagues regarding information security and privacy.

• One of the following or similar certifications such as CISM, CISA, CRISC or CISSP;
• Demonstrated experience in the role of CISO;
• At least a completed college or university degree;
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience applying various frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, DORA or BIO.

You possess the following soft skills:

• You can easily collaborate with stakeholders at different levels. You are a team player and get energy from sharing knowledge, both internally and externally;
• You are communicatively strong in both Dutch and English;
• You have commercial skills and see new opportunities for Bureau Veritas with your customer through a proactive mindset;
• You have strong analytical skills and can work under pressure.
