Senior Network Security Engineer - System Integrator

Key Responsibilities:

Network Security & Infrastructure Management

• Design, configure, and manage Fortinet firewalls (Forti Gate) and security solutions (Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, Forti Authenticator).
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Aruba networking solutions, including switches, wireless access points, controllers, and Clear Pass.
• Implement network security policies, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and advanced threat protection.
• Optimize Aruba Clear Pass for secure network access control and authentication.
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Incident Response
• Continuously monitor network security and performance, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Maintain SIEM solutions and logging systems for real-time security insights.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with clients, IT teams, and vendors to ensure secure and high-performing network solutions.
• Document network configurations, security policies, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to junior engineers or client IT teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Fortinet security products (Forti Gate, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, Forti Authenticator).
• Proficiency in Aruba networking solutions, including Aruba switches, wireless access points, and Clear Pass.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of cloud security solutions (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus).

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fortinet NSE 4 or higher certification preferred.

• Hourly Rate: €90 Per Hour
