Contract Scotland is working with a well-established main contractor to strengthen their commercial team in the North of Scotland with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.

• Take full commercial lead on your assigned project.
• Manage cost control, procurement, valuations and reporting.
• Work closely with the site team to ensure financial performance and contractual compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain and internal colleagues.
• Oversee variations, forecasting and final accounts.
• Ensure commercial governance is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

• Experience as a Project QS or Senior QS within main contracting.
• Ability to operate as commercial lead on a project.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management and procurement.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work autonomously.
• A proactive, organised approach and strong attention to detail.
