A bit about the role

Do you want to be part of an exciting, innovative youth work team across Elgin?

Action for Children are excited to announce we have successfully been appointed to lead a brand-new initiative – the Elgin Active Youth Engagement (AYE) Bus! We’ll work in partnership with Stagecoach, Elgin Neighbourhood Board, Moray Council Community Safety, Police Scotland and Moray Pathways Local Employability Partnership.

The AYE Bus, a double‑decker mobile youth centre generously donated by Stagecoach, is part‑funded for its first 12 months by the Elgin Neighbourhood Board. This unique project is designed to offer early intervention and support for young people across Elgin, helping to create safer, more inclusive public spaces.

We’re now recruiting passionate and experienced Youth Workers who thrive on building positive, trusted relationships with young people. Whether you’re seeking a fresh challenge or want to bring your experience to a new, mobile setting, this role offers the chance to make a lasting impact. You’ll be delivering a variety of evening and weekend sessions throughout Elgin, creating inclusive, engaging environments for young people to feel heard, supported, and inspired.

Be part of shaping a new chapter in youth support across Moray - onboard the AYE Bus!
