Designer III – CAD Drafting

We are seeking an experienced Designer III to join our Engineering team. This role focuses on developing detailed 3D CAD models, 2D fabrication drawings, and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for oil and gas surface production equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong technical drafting skills, hands‑on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Plant P&, and a solid understanding of equipment fabrication and manufacturing processes.

Develop complex 3D models and detailed 2D fabrication drawings for pressure vessels, separators, heater treaters, piping assemblies, pipe racks, and equipment skids.

Create and update P&IDs, including equipment tags, instrumentation, and piping details.

Ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and maintain CAD documentation.

Collaborate with engineers, fabrication teams, and project stakeholders to resolve design and manufacturing challenges.

Support cost-effective design improvements and fabrication efficiency.

3–5 years of AutoCAD 3D experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Plant P& required.

Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Experience designing oil and gas surface production equipment preferred.

Strong attention to detail, technical problem‑solving skills, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
