Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable | £28,000 | Ellesmere Port

We are recruiting for an international manufacturing business based in Ellesmere Port to recruit for an Accounts Payable role to join a well established finance team.

As Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a key part in providing timely and accurate information in the day to day running of the finance department and supporting required process improvements and systems.

• Processing accounts payable invoices, matching and coding onto SAP
• Dealing with queries and discrepancies
• Managing the payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Posting expenses
• Providing information and analysis when requested
• Bank reconciliations
• Posting all bank transactions
• Updating daily cash sheet to confirm customer payments received
• Petty cash reconciliation
• Credit card reconciliations
• Assisting in the annual statutory audit from an accounts payable perspective

• Has experience working in accounts payable
• Worked in manufacturing would be advantageous
• Has a strong work ethic and attitude
• Has the ability to identify process improvements and drive them through
• SAP knowledge is desirable
• Has strong attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline driven environment
