We're looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Piccolo Lounge in Ely
!

You will work alongside a supportive team, ensuring every dish meets specifications, a clean and safe kitchen, and all prep is completed for each shift. Your leadership will keep customers happy with great food.

- You are an existing Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Sous Chef looking for your first step into a Head Chef role.
- You have experience working with fresh ingredients and can demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices).
- Your work ethic is rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in, leading from the front to deliver excellent kitchen and food standards as part of a high‑performing team.
- You are familiar with managing through clear KPIs and making decisions considering labour, stock, food safety requirements and others.
- You have worked in kitchen environments where you report on various metrics including GPs, labour/house, food preparation.
- You have delivered successful training and recruitment for kitchen teams including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs and Sous Chefs.
