Senior Pre-Sales Engineer - Commercial Heating A leading manufacturer of heating and renewable energy solutions is seeking a Specification Manager (Senior Pre-Sales Engineer) to drive engagement with M&E consultants, contractors, local authorities, housing associations, and developers. The role focuses on promoting a full range of commercial and domestic heating products - including boilers, heat pumps, and water heaters - through technical support, CPD delivery, and specification development from concept to installation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to grow specification opportunities. Provide technical and design support, including heat loss calculations and system schematics. Deliver product presentations and CPDs to consultants, contractors, and clients. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. Manage CRM data, analyse sales information, and support reporting activities. Support projects from quotation through to commissioning and client handover.

Package:
Total package up to £72,000 Salary: £50,000-£60,000 (DOE) Annual bonus: £8,000 at target, up to £12,000 for 150% achievement Company car (business and personal use) Pension: 7% employer / 3% employee contribution 25 days annual leave plus Christmas closure (24 Dec - 1 Jan) Death in service: 2x annual salary Employee Assistance Programme and additional benefits Requirements:
Proven experience in HVAC specification sales Strong technical understanding of heating systems, including heat pumps and boilers. Confident communicator with presentation and relationship-building skills. Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results independently. Knowledge of current building services regulations and industry standards.
