Trustee with Fundraising experience

We want a person with integrity, vision, and creativity. A hard‑working, focused individual willing to devote time to this role and to further EAWA’s charitable objectives. A team player with an understanding of directorship responsibilities, legal duties, good judgement and strategic ability.

A person who gets things done and rolls up their sleeves practically to fulfil their area of expertise.

• Raising funds for a property purchase
• Trust and Foundation bid writing
• National Lottery Bid Writing
• Use of Fundraising Platforms / Managing Social media appeals

EAWA’s future development is dependent on fundraising. We want a board member who can fundraise for EAWA to acquire its own building and centralise operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring sufficient funds are available when the right building is found, as properties are sold quickly.

You will enhance our service provision through fundraising, enabling the development and delivery of EAWA projects. The extent of the difference you make will depend on your skills and drive.

As a charity company director you will assist with long‑term continuity and vision, working closely with the board to comply with all statutory obligations. EAWA holds an annual Away Day for strategic development and a scheduled AGM. Your input will shape priorities for the future.

Board meetings once a month on Thursday evenings, 8:00‑9:30 pm via Zoom.

One Away Day a year (full day), typically on a Saturday or Sunday.

One AGM – daytime.

Additional aspects in line with the role as required.

Enfield, London (North) – Role is mostly remote, except for required visits.
