We specialise in providing excellent care support for young adults with Autism and Learning disability. The support projects are designed with personalised care to develop independence for all service users. Our projects are based in North London, and our geographical area covers the entire London borough and the surrounding districts.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Support Worker located in Enfield. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing emotional and practical support to individuals with mental health and learning disabilities. They will work closely with other team members, healthcare providers, and social services to support clients in daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care. The Support Worker will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of client progress and behaviours.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Provide emotional support to clients.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and activities.
  • Assist clients with medical appointments and treatments.
  • Help clients access community resources and services.
  • Provide transportation for clients as needed.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in social care, mental health, or learning disability services is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Flexible, empathetic, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and policies.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritise tasks.

    Experience with record keeping and report writing.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • English language proficiency.
