Remuneration: £29,000‑£37,000 (£15.54‑£20.17 plus 20% shift bonus)

Schedule:

Thursday‑Sunday 08:00‑18:00

• Maintain production equipment for high‑quality timber products in a sawmill
• Minimise equipment downtime
• Repair, adjust and maintain machines to ensure reliable operation
• Respond to breakdowns and conduct planned maintenance activities
• Keep detailed records to identify and address recurrent problems
• Set, calibrate or adjust equipment and instruments to meet production specifications
• Sign off completed maintenance work

• Maintenance experience with heavy manufacturing/industrial machinery
• Background in mechanical engineering
• Proficient in fault finding in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge of health & safety practices
• Ready to work hands‑on and get dirty
• Excellent communication skills
• Personable, team player, problem solver, driven and enthusiastic
