Overview
The work of the payroll team is key to supporting the business, line managers and employees in all things Payroll. Our services are delivered with passion and commitment, providing a consistently great customer experience, always on time, accurately and demonstrating optimal efficiencies and service standards, whilst meeting all legislative, policy and compliance requirements. The Payroll Administrator will work within the payroll team supporting the delivery of the UK Payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
This role does not require any previous payroll experience.
- Support the Payroll Advisors with the end-to-end processing of the monthly payroll.
- Payroll administrative duties.
- Process new starter tax documents, check information provided with employees if necessary.
- Load HMRC changes, manually process rejections and liaise with employees as appropriate regarding changes received.
- Ensure all variable payments and deductions are processed.
- Process weekly unpaid leave and unpaid sick reports.
- Assist with the update/maintenance of employee flexible benefit payments and deductions.
- Use the Payroll Case Management Tool (Service Now) to record and maintain accurate records about activities and tasks undertaken.
- Updating of the UK Payroll System (Oracle).
- GCSE Maths and English as minimum.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Able to work as part of a team but also independently.
- Keen to learn and picks things up quickly.
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite.
