• Own and direct teams that undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, to high‑quality levels.
• Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
• Successfully manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and programmes.
• Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Set quality assurance standards in design.
• Grow, develop and manage dams and reservoirs engineering capability within the practice.

• Chartered Civil Engineer.
• Currently a Reservoir Supervising Engineer, or working toward that designation.
• Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering as applied to the management and design of dams and reservoirs and their associated hydraulic structures.
• In‑depth knowledge of current UK design standards, guidance and working practices including the Reservoirs Act.
