• Actively contribute to business development activities, identifying opportunities and engaging with clients.
• Lead and support the preparation of bids and proposals, providing technical input, resource planning and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with commercial and project management teams to develop competitive and compelling offers aligned with client needs.
• Lead the P&C FEED and detailed design works for major transmission scale projects.
• Train and develop junior engineers.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, sub-contractors and suppliers as required.
• Attend site visits, FAT and SAT under the supervision of senior and principal engineers.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork attributes.

• HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer through the IET.
• Proven experience in P&C design of substations in the UK.
• Experience preparing bids and cost estimates for FEED and detailed design work.
• Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC, IEEE).
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Commissioning experience on transmission or EHV scale projects.

This role may require security clearance. The vetting process is UKSV and may require proof of residency in the UK for 5 years or longer. Clearance discussions will occur at interview.
