Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Chennai. The Junior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, supporting audits, processing invoices, handling tax-related documentation, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting as needed.

Qualifications
Knowledge of Accounting principles and practices, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliations

Experience with Accounting Software and proficiency in MS Excel
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills with attention to detail
Understanding of Taxation, GST compliance, and other regulatory requirements
Strong Communication and Organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Experience in the import/export or FMCG industry is a plus
