Project Manager

Water Infrastructure (Civil Engineering)

We are seeking experienced Project Managers with a strong background in water-sector civil engineering to support major infrastructure programmes across Essex.

This role involves leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing contractors, overseeing programme delivery, and ensuring projects meet regulatory, safety, environmental and quality standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, supply-chain partners, and statutory bodies to deliver essential water-network upgrades and enhancement schemes.

Contract Details

Day Rate: £450–£475 per day

Engagement:
Umbrella or Outside IR35

Duration:
Initial 6-month rolling contract, extendable up to 5 years

Ideal Experience

Proven experience managing civil engineering projects in the water / wastewater sector

Strong understanding of NEC contracts

Strong understanding of NEC contracts

Experience overseeing contractors, CDM compliance, and site delivery

Ability to manage budgets, programmes and risk registers
