Rates: £17 - £25 (Dependent on experience)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to support a busy Acute Hospital
. This is a patient facing, ongoing role, offering the opportunity to contribute to patient care across both, outpatient and inpatient pharmacy areas. This is a hands on – clinical role requiring a thorough individual, with excellent communication skills.

• Dispense and accuracy-check prescriptions
• Support accurate medication history taking
• Liaise with nurses and doctors regarding discrepancies with patients’ medication to improve patient care
• Provide Counselling and complex medication advise to patients and other health care professional
• Work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team
• Ensure legal and professional standards are met in dispensing and supply

• GPhC Registration
• Previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Great communication skills
