Rate of Pay: $21.06/hour

Required Skills/Training:

• Post-secondary courses in programs such as Early Childhood Development, Educational Assistant, Personal Care Aide or similar related areas and/or related experience would be considered an asset.
• Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention would be considered an asset.
• Experience with, and ability to handle, high needs children with a variety of emotional needs would be considered an asset.
• Experience with, and ability to handle, the needs of elementary aged children would be considered an asset.
• Based on the needs of individual students, ability to provide assistance in occupational therapy, physical therapy, dressing, eating, toileting, and transferring could be required with support/training provided as necessary.
• First Aid/CPR would be considered an asset.
• Possess a current and valid driver’s license.

Requirements:

• Familiarity and understanding of the practices of the Roman Catholic Faith would be considered an asset
• Recent (within 6 months) Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check upon employment
