Job description
Hire Art is helping a leading AI technology company find a Data Capture Technician to support reality capture efforts on active construction sites in Texas.
In this role, you will operate reality capture equipment such as 360-degree cameras and surveying tools to collect detailed site data used for algorithmic and AI-driven analysis. This is a part-time, field-based role requiring one half day per week, 2-3 hours in and around Abilene, TX
We're looking for candidates who are able to start immediately.The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and enjoys hands-on fieldwork. You are comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites and using technology to collect accurate, high-quality data. Candidates with backgrounds in construction, photography, civil engineering, and college students are encouraged to apply.

Must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays to work one half day per week, 2-3 hours in and around Abilene, TXComfort working on active construction sites and in varying outdoor conditionsA strong work ethic and a dependable, responsible approach to fieldworkThe ability to walk long distances and perform physical tasks throughout the workdayClear communication skills and a strong commitment to safety, including adherence to site-specific and client-specific protocolsA positive attitude and the ability to work independently to solve problems
Bonus qualifications:Experience in construction, surveying, civil engineering, or related fieldsPrevious field-based or site-based work experienceTechnical aptitude or familiarity with field equipmentCommitment: This is a part-time, 1-year contract position staffed via Hire Art. It is available to candidates who are local to the Abilene, TX area.
