Senior Technical Support Analyst/Junior System Administrator
The Senior Technical Support Analyst/Junior System Administrator is responsible for supporting the comprehensive technology platforms for the Business by managing and coordinating all day-to-day activities for our client, while acting as a liaison between their vendors and the businesses requirements.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, personable and a multi-skilled IT professional with excellent all-round technical expertise. They require knowledge of systems, hardware, technical support, macOS, Windows, Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk, and multi-office remote infrastructure management. They must possess tech-functional communication skills with the ability to convey complex details in simple terminology for senior leadership executives.
Responsibilities
End-user technical support for macOS and Windows workstationsSoftware troubleshooting and support for Adobe Creative Suite of products, Autodesk Suite of productsTechnical support of MS Office Suite of productsSystem administration of Windows Servers and Email ServersHardware support and inventory controlWorking closely with vendors ensuring client satisfaction and successful project completionEvaluating business needs, system functionality, and ensuring the primary objective meets or exceeds requirementsIssue and risk management and resolutionEscalation to Managing DirectorRequirements
Minimum 5 years of extensive working experience in supporting multi-platform systems and related applications4 years experience supporting macOSKnowledge of advanced computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, switches and wireless devicesExperience supporting Windows ServersExtensive experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows and Macs.Extensive application support experience with MS Office SuiteStrong communication skillsGood interpersonal skills, team player and contributor to a positive team dynamicAbility to work under pressure; sense of urgency and customer service-orientedVersatility, adaptability to new technologies and changeStrong organizational, priority management and multitasking skills; results-orientedMotivated, creative, flexible, responsible and proactiveAvailability to work outside regular work hoursThis is a permanent position located in Etobicoke, ON with an annual salary of $55,000.00 – $65,000.00
