Laser Cutter - Metal Fabrication

Arise Talent Hub is hiring on behalf of one of our valued clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Cutter to join a dynamic and growing metal fabrication team. Position Overview

The Laser Cutter – Metal Fabrication will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines to precisely cut sheet metal and related materials. The ideal candidate has several years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication and is committed to quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce parts based on engineering drawings and specifications
• Ensure consistent machine performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize quality and output
• Conduct visual and dimensional quality inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications accurately
• Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting of laser equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with company safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong mechanical skills with attention to precision and detail
• Knowledge of quality control processes and adherence to safety procedures
• Experience working with metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CNC programming is an asset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
