Job description
Hire Art is helping our client find an experienced Senior ML/AI Engineer to work in a hands-on,
fast-paced environment with software closely connected to operating systems, computer hardware, sensors, and vehicles.
In this role you will design, develop, improve, and maintain reusable software components, frameworks, and tools primarily written in Python, while leading the development of ML features.
We're looking for someone with a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 5+ years of professional software development experience.
As a Senior ML/AI Engineer, you'll:Design, develop, improve, and maintain reusable software components, frameworks, and tools primarily written in Python.Lead the development of ML features for the team while working closely with counterparts.Demonstrate a growth mindset across technology stacks and leverage experience to develop solutions with sound design principles, extensibility, and quality in mind.Apply your expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning methodologies.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field5+ years of professional software development experienceExperience writing scalable, reusable code in Python or similarExperience writing Github Actions or similar (e.g., Jenkins, etc.)Experience with both supervised and unsupervised learning methodsExperience incorporating models as part of complex build pipelines and deploying models to hardwareExperience with writing unit tests, doing cross-validation, and robustness testing/evaluation of modelsTime signal processing experience as well as computer vision experienceGeneralist attitude and willingness to learn continuouslyAbility to operate effectively/autonomously across multiple teams and navigate technical ambiguity with only high-level directionNice-to-Have:Masters degree or PhD related to AI/MLExperience with automotive software, ideally for ADASExperience with C/C++Experience with developing cloud Infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in automotiveBenefits:PTO and paid holidays!Pre-tax commuter benefitsEmployer (Hire Art) Subsidized healthcare benefitsFlexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costsHire Art covers all costs for short and long term disability and life insurance401k packageCommitment: This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via Hire Art.
