Job Summary:
The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll-off trucks used to transport large waste containers to and from customer locations, landfills, and transfer stations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an 18-speed roll-off truck, following all traffic laws and company guidelines.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to confirm safe operational condition.
- Keep accurate records of all deliveries, pickups, and any incidents encountered during operations.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and service needs.
- Load and unload containers at assigned locations, ensuring proper handling and care of materials.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations both on the road and at work sites.
- Assist in keeping the truck and equipment clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Valid DZ license with a clean driving record.
- Completion of high school
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience as a roll off truck driver.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to transportation and waste management.
- Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks as required.
