Summary:
Supports Value Village Stores / Savers vision by operating a 26’ Box Truck to maintain and accomplish a daily delivery and pick-up truck route to supply the Distribution Center and stores with goods to export as well as pick up
GD-ADS Sites.

Working knowledge GTA, Ontario, Canada.Clean Drivers Abstract.Clean CVORWorking knowledge of WHIMS and MTO regulations,Demonstrate organization skillsDemonstrate customer service skillsAbility to operate a 26’ Box Truck with air brakesAbility to operate a forkliftAbility to load and unload trucks and trailers as neededAbility to communicate orally and in writingAbility to multi-task several incoming and outgoing truck loads at any given timeAbility to create drivers logs and reportsAbility to interpret and follow instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines with flexibility, and multi-task with minimal directionAbility to be detailed-orientedAbility to work within VVS/Savers cultureAbility to follow company policiesEssential Job Functions:
Delivers and picks goods in GTA, and Ontario, Savers/Value Village stores, and other vendors’ stores according to a pre-determined route.Creates bills of lading according to individual store pick-ups.Maintains and records information (log of hours) regarding truck maintenance and performance.Checks vehicles to ensure proper safety and work conditions are in compliance with VVS/Savers policies and MTO standards.Learn and perform other duties as neededEstablish working relationships with each stores production supervisors and TM’s.Certified Lift Truck operator.Required Education, Training and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent2-3 years’ experience driving with a minimum Class DZ license with Air Brake EndorsementMinimum of a DZ Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement.Clean CVOR/driving recordForklift CertifiedPhysical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbsAbility to pull or push a pallet jackAbility to operate a trailer jack assemblyTools and Equipment Used:
Box Truck, Forklift, pallet jack
