Accounts Technician

Introduction

An Accounts Technician role at ACCA Careers based in the Exeter office. The position involves preparing year end accounts, tax compliance, VAT and bookkeeping for a diverse client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies up to millions of turnover.

• Prepare year end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, VAT, bookkeeping and other practice services.
• Deliver wide range of general practice services to a mixed and varied client base.
• Assist managers and partners on planning and advisory projects, gaining client exposure and developing technical skills.
• Progress within the firm, qualifying through AAT/ACA/ACCA, ATT/CTA with encouragement to pursue technical interest.

• Recent experience within accountancy practice, working as an Accounts Assistant/Technician or Senior Accountant.
• Experience across preparing year end accounts, tax compliance (personal and corporate), VAT, bookkeeping and other associated practice services.
• Formal qualifications e.g. AAT or part ACCA, finalist, or experience to date only.
• Study support offered for those seeking support for their studies.

£26,000 - £30,000 dependent on level of experience and background.
