An award-winning, privately owned developer with a track record of success and a reputation for attracting top industry talent is looking to expand its commercial team. We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the house building sector.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of your projects – from site procurement through to final account. You’ll be working on a variety of residential schemes and will be fully involved in all aspects of cost planning and control.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and issuing trade specifications and tender packages
Tender analysis and subcontractor appointment
Managing subcontractor packages and attending pre-start meetings
Ensuring health & safety compliance is in place pre-construction
Budget management and cost reporting
Site measurements, valuations, and managing final accounts
Liaising with internal and external teams to drive commercial success

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the house building/residential development sector
Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, hands-on approach
Ability to run your own projects independently
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Full UK driving licence (regular site travel required)
