In November 2023, MMB secured its first ever framework with South West Water, responsible for the water and wastewater services of 1.8 million customers in Cornwall, Devon, the Isles of Scilly and parts of Dorset and Somerset. The multi‑million‑pound AMP8 runs for five years to 2029 – with the potential for a further five‑year extension – and brings our track record of innovative project delivery to the south west of England.

• Preparing electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on our client’s site, including Motor Control Centres, LV distribution systems, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs and SCADA – for both new and legacy installations.
• Applying all relevant design standards, including client and WIMES standards and legislation.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary design team to ensure designs are delivered to brief, and budget.
• Producing technical specifications and schedules for procurement activities, reviewing supplier tender bids and technical submissions.
• Producing the URS for control systems, reviewing supplier FDS and attending factory acceptance tests.
• Reviewing and understanding existing installed systems for interface, via site visits, drawings and reports.
• Positively engaging with the client, managing relationships and supporting them to achieve their aims.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Working towards IEng or CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution.
• Strong communication skills with team members and stakeholders.
• A methodical approach to problem‑solving.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
