We’re working with a well-established, award-winning planning consultancy in Exeter that’s expanding due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline. The team works across an impressive range of sectors — including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and rural development — and prides itself on providing high-quality, commercially aware planning advice.

You’ll play a key role in supporting and delivering a variety of exciting projects across the South West. Working alongside experienced planners and directors, you’ll manage your own caseload, prepare and submit planning applications, and contribute to development plan representations and appeals.

As a Senior Planner, you’ll also take greater ownership of client relationships, mentor junior colleagues, and play an active role in business development.

We’re looking for someone who is :

• MRTPI qualified (or actively working towards it)
• Experienced within a consultancy or local authority environment
• Confident managing planning applications and liaising with clients and local planning authorities
• A strong communicator with excellent written and analytical skills
• Passionate about planning and the built environment
