A leading civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Site Agent to join their team on the South West Water AMP8 framework, delivering upgrades and refurbishment works to dirty water assets across Devon and the wider South West region.

This is an excellent long-term freelance opportunity for a proven site leader who thrives in delivering complex infrastructure works within a live operational environment.

• Take full site responsibility for civil engineering works on wastewater treatment sites, pumping stations, and associated assets.
• Manage day-to-day site operations including direct labour, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate with planners, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure programme and cost efficiency.
• Oversee the preparation of RAMS, permits, and site documentation.
• Maintain strong client relationships with South West Water and framework partners.
• Drive high standards of safety, environmental performance, and compliance.

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Sub Agent within the water / wastewater or heavy civil engineering sectors.
• Strong background in dirty water / wastewater treatment works (AMP framework experience advantageous).
• Excellent understanding of civil engineering construction, concrete structures, pipelines, chambers, and preferably MEICA interface coordination.
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications essential.
• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.

• £350 - £385 per day (CIS) depending on experience.
• Long-term contract on a secured AMP8 framework.
• Opportunity to work with a respected Tier 1 contractor with a strong regional presence.
