The Role

We are seeking Senior to Associate Electrical Design Engineers to contribute to technically challenging projects. You will:

• Lead detailed electrical designs: power distribution, lighting, fire & life safety, and BMS systems.
• Produce and review calculations, specifications, single-line diagrams, and CAD/Revit drawings.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout all stages of a project.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with UK standards and regulations (BS 7671, CIBSE).
• Incorporate sustainable design practices and low-carbon technologies.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and QA processes.

About You

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• Typically 5+ years’ experience in building services electrical design (consultancy or similar).
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
• Proven expertise in electrical system design and UK standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
• Passionate about sustainable engineering and innovation.
• Chartered status (CEng, IEng) or working towards chartership is preferred.
