Finance Assistant

Location: Exeter

Salary: £30,000.00 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 with 30 minute lunch

• Breaking and reconciliation:
  Handling daily bank reconciliations, processing card payments, and managing daily banking tasks
• Sales Ledger and Credit Control:
  Monitoring outstanding debts, following up on queries with customers and internal teams, and preparing for month-end statements
• Purchase Ledger:
  Processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and managing payment runs
• Financial Administration:
  Handling petty cash, processing driver expense claims, and assisting with small claims procedures when needed
• Team Support:
  Covering various finance tasks during team holidays to keep everything running smoothly

• Previous experience in a finance role within the motor industry
• Strong numerical and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy
• Confident communicator - both over the phone and in person
• IT-literate, with experience using finance systems and spreadsheets
