Commercial Finance Director

Robert Half are working in partnership with a listed manufacturing business based in the South West to recruit a Commercial Finance Director on a permanent basis. An opportunity to join a growth division with 50% year on year growth and looking to further double turnover in the next 3 years! This role is based near to Exeter (circa 2 days a week) with ad-hoc travel to other UK and international sites.

The Commercial Finance Director role will suit candidates with a demonstrable experience within a multi-site manufacturing environment, somebody who understands core accounting alongside the ability to drive commercial value, profitability and efficiency across a number of different sites. The Commercial Finance Director position will be offering a base salary between £110,000 and £130,000 per annum plus bonus (c 20%), 29 days annual leave (plus BH), PMI and more!

Key responsibilities include Act as the strategic and operational business partner, a conduit between circa 10 sites and the group function Oversee core areas of financial reporting, audit, tax and statutory compliance with the support of a Financial Controller in each location Lead, develop and grow your team of Financial Controllers alongside the operations and processes within Preparation of business cases and relevant analysis Develop and improve standard costing models Drive commercial and strategic understanding for non-finance leaders, develop reporting, MI and KPI's relevant to operational stakeholders About your experience Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Proven experience in a strategic and commercial finance leadership role Previous experience within manufacturing and a multi-site business Working knowledge of UK/US GAAP and IFRS Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
