You will be supported by our highly trained specialist pharmacists to ensure you develop your clinical skills and support the team to provide a high level of patient‑focused care.
Job responsibilitiesYou will be part of a team of rotational pharmacists covering a range of clinical and core services. You will gain a wide range of experience including dispensary, aseptic services, community services, medicines information and on call duties. Clinical duties will include cardiology, respiratory, trauma and orthopaedics, gastroenterology, acute medicine, acute surgery, care of the elderly. You will learn from our senior and specialist pharmacists and work alongside our team of experienced medicines management technicians.
The successful candidate will benefit from our in‑house training programme. This will be supplemented by support for an appropriate postgraduate qualification such as a clinical certificate or diploma aligned with development against the Foundation Pharmacy Framework.
Requirement to participate in 7‑day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week.
