Travel Consultant

Luxury Travel Consultants and Tailor-made Specialists in the Exeter area!! My client is looking for a Travel Consultant that has experience in the luxury and tailor-made industry! This is a fantastic new opportunity to work for an independent, specialist tour operator! If you're an experienced travel consultant with either excellent Caribbean and Indian Ocean destination knowledge they this could be perfect for you!

This is an office based role based in Exeter who pays a very competitive basic salary plus commission and company benefits.

• Selling tailor-made luxury holidays to the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Sri Lanka to our discerning client base
• You will be responsible for managing your own client accounts, putting together appropriate holidays (including pricing them from scratch)
• Tailoring the holiday details to fit the client brief, ensuring all the elements are in place
• Delivering outstanding customer service
• According to season you will get involved with product updating, pricing, contract loading and product development.
• Liaising with suppliers and clients in different countries.

Previous luxury travel experience with a tour operator and proven track record in luxury sales

Knowledge of Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Sri Lanka

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You should also have a commercial aptitude and be very numerate.

You should be at ease with high sales values (£10K to £30k per holiday).

Experience of working to targets and closing sale.

Excellent customer service skills

A competitive salary in the region of £25,000-£30,000 per annum plus commission and excellent company benefits.
