Job Overview

We are partnering with a fast-growing UK SaaS business based in Exeter that is entering an exciting phase of product and team growth. They are looking to hire a talented mid-weight full-stack developer to help build and evolve a market-leading SaaS platform.

You’ll join a collaborative engineering team, working closely with senior developers to deliver high-quality features, maintain strong code standards, and contribute to architectural decisions. This role offers exposure to scalable systems, complex problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and scalable code.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and technical decisions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full technology stack.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver new features.
• Suggest improvements to processes, tooling, and system performance.

• Strong commercial experience with PHP 8.x.
• Good working knowledge of the Symfony framework and components (7.0+).
• Solid understanding of software design principles and testing practices.
• Ability to break down complex problems into clear technical solutions.

• Experience with Vue.js or a similar modern JavaScript framework.
• MySQL query design with and without ORM support.
• Exposure to third-party API integrations (accounting or CRM systems a plus).
