Van Driver

Overview

Van Driver — Backline Logistics is looking for a Van Driver to work for various clients. You will be collecting and delivering loads, and the role may involve loading and unloading, so a good level of fitness is required. Driver duties may include planning routes, loading and unloading, and providing excellent customer service. To be considered for these roles, you should have previous driving experience and reliable transportation.

You should be able to follow directions as well as all safety rules. Ultimately, you are a member of the team that provides excellent customer service. You may need transport due to working at a variety of clients in various locations. Opportunities available for part time, temp to perm and full time roles. • Operate vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
• Maintain accurate records
• Perform daily vehicle checks
• Load and unload securely using ratchet straps and other methods
• Communicate with office and customers about deliveries

• You must hold a full UK Licence
• Maximum 6 points
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Clean and professional at all times
• Good written and spoken communication skills
• The ability to handball off large and heavy items

• Valid van driver s licence (Class
  
  B)

• PAYE £488.00 per week minimum (pro-rata)
