Operations Support Agent

Operations Support Agent at Fed Ex.

Working hours
: 40 hours

Shift Pattern
:
Monday to Friday, 05:00-13:30 (30 minute break)

Salary
: £14.02 per hour

You will be responsible for the following

  • Answering incoming calls from customers in relation to collection requests, along with delivery queries.
  • Sorting and allocating premium and distance deliveries.
  • Checking and investigating (when needed) failed deliveries/collections.
  • Prioritising and re-allocating failures for the next day delivery as required.
  • Using the Customer Delivery Option system to effectively manage customer requests.
  • Allocating collections to routes as required.
  • Inputting data into our tracking system.
  • Maintaining clear and effective communications/collaboration with the team, managers and other depots.
  • Following Fed Ex processes, procedures and controls, as well as external regulatory requirements.
  • Completing daily reports within time frames.

You will also provide support to your supervisor, office/warehouse team and drivers as required within the location, whilst complying with all local and corporate legal requirements and ensuring the safe and secure movement of all freight.

Being part of the team you’ll ensure that customers' urgent packages get to the right place, on time. You will be part of a busy transport office team, working to tight deadlines and fast-moving situations whilst providing customers a high quality customer service and making every experience outstanding.
