Van Drivers Needed – Exeter (EX2)

£12.21 per hour | Weekly Pay (Every Friday) | Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting Van Drivers/Warehouse Operatives to join a busy automotive distribution centre based in Exeter (EX2). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable, long-term work with the chance to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.

This role offers a mix of warehouse duties and multi-drop delivery driving, providing variety and a great balance between being on the road and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shift Patterns Available

Shift 1: 08:30 – 17:30 (1 hour unpaid break)

Shift 2: 04:00 – 13:00 (1 hour unpaid break)

Client request flexability
You may begin your shift in the warehouse and then head out on deliveries, or start with deliveries and finish with warehouse duties, depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties:

Picking and packing car parts accurately according to order sheets

Scanning, wrapping, and labelling items ready for dispatch

Loading and unloading delivery vans safely and efficiently

Sorting, processing, and recording any returns

Maintaining a clean and organised working area at all times

Delivery Driving Duties:

Delivering car parts and accessories to local customers and garages

Handling a range of automotive components, including brake pads, discs, fluids, batteries, and other heavy items

Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift

Ensuring deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition

Providing friendly and professional customer service at every drop

Requirements

Full, valid UK driving licence (no more than 6 points; no DR or IN convictions)

Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving or warehouse operations preferred but not essential

Good knowledge of local routes around Exeter and surrounding areas is beneficial

Physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Pay and Benefits
