Job Title: Paediatric Complex Care Support Worker
Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Complex Carer to support children with medical needs in the home. The role involves delivering safe, clinical care including suctioning
, cough assist
, PEG feeding
, and NG tube care
.
- Provide 1:1 care for children with complex health needs
- Carry out suctioning and use cough assist equipment confidently
- Administer PEG and NG feeds, including site and tube care
- Monitor and report changes in condition
- Follow individual care plans and safeguarding protocols
- Must be trained and competent in suctioning, cough assist, PEG and NG tube care
- Experience in paediatric complex care (minimum 6 months)
- Enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service
- Excellent communication skills and child-centred approach
