We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Financial Accountant, you will play an integral role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive reports, and aiding in strategic financial planning. You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including month‑end closing processes, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting principles.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software (preferably SAP), and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. You will also be expected to provide insights into financial performance and assist in the development of budgets that align with our organizational goals. Fully qualified accountant, preferably CA/ACCA.
Relevant ExperienceExperienced financial accountant essential. Demonstrated experience with month end close process, complex balance sheet reconciliations and internal reporting. Ability to multi‑task and work with a variety of stakeholders across all functions essential.
Roles & Responsibilities- Preparing monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports.
- Complete key elements of recurring month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Perform account reconciliations – including fixed assets, prepayments & liabilities.
- Analyze cost center budgets, alongside MI reporting on headcount and utility trending. Provide insights for management.
- Assist campaign profitability calculations and internal reviews with multiple stakeholders.
- Manage essential internal processes including new project/capex requests. Assist Financial Director with capex and ROI evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes – including business partnering with site management team, data gathering and trend analysis.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant
- Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (essential) and accounting software (SAP preferred)
- In‑depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
- Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
- Confident multitasker
- Inquisitive, independent and proactive.
