Customer Account Representative

Location :
Fareham

Hours :
Mon - Thurs (08 : 00 - 1630), Fri (08 : 00 - 13 : 00). Flexible Working.

Salary : £31,000 - £35,000

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Account Representative to join our team in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships while working closely with internal teams.

You’ll play a key role in supporting a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring world-class service delivery. From responding to enquiries and preparing quotations to supporting forecasting and order management, this role is central to both customer satisfaction and operational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of multiple customer accounts, including order books and customer portals
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring timely and effective resolution of enquiries and orders
  • Assist with costing and quotation preparation, ensuring accuracy and internal approval
  • Collaborate with planning teams to support monthly and annual demand forecasting
  • Process and review customer purchase orders within the ERP system
  • Support contract reviews and liaise with OEMs to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across customer service, planning, commercial, and operations
Skills Required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service or customer support environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Sales support, or administrative experience ideally within the aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing industry.
