Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Permanent)
Due to continued investment and sustained growth, a market-leading engineering organisation is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly complex, innovative engineering environment, taking ownership of the full product life cycle for a range of cutting-edge consumer electronics. You’ll be involved in everything from initial concept through to manufacture, playing a key role in bringing next-generation products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead full product life-cycle design of mechanical parts, components, and systems for a high-tech product portfolio.

* Deliver exciting new product development projects from concept to production.

* Create both conceptual and detailed designs across a complex and innovative product range.

* Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure design success.

* Produce and maintain accurate engineering documentation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

About You:

* Proven experience designing mechanical components and/or systems using 3D CAD software such as Solid Works, CATIA, Creo, Inventor, or similar.

* Demonstrated experience in full life-cycle design, from initial concept through to manufacturing.

* A formal qualification in Engineering or Product Design.

Working Hours & Flexibility:

* Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

* Flexible start and finish times

* Hybrid working: 1 day per week from home
