Services Assistant

A Sainsbury’s Service Assistant is an entry‑level, part‑time role within our fast‑paced stores. You’ll provide a welcoming experience, support customers at checkouts, self‑service tills, kiosks and petrol stations, and assist with in‑store services such as the On‑Demand grocery ordering service and Click & Collect parcels.

• You must be above the school‑leaver age in your country (see ).
• If your shifts run earlier than 6 am or later than 11 pm, you must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have right to work eligibility in the UK.

• Serve and support customers at check‑outs, self‑service tills, kiosks and petrol stations, proactively offering help.
• Select the best quality products on the shop floor for the On‑Demand grocery service and assist customers with Click & Collect parcels.
• Build knowledge of our products, services and promotions to make recommendations.
• Handle complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising.
• Safely move and retrieve trolleys in customer car parks.
• Work flexibly across the store as needed.
